This tool identifies the clamping load as the target characteristic, accounting for small joint variations in Torx and Phillips head fasteners.

According to Janome Industrial Equipment USA, Inc. (Elk Grove Village, IL), its JR3000 series desktop robots can be coupled with the new Atlas Copco QMT driver to deliver improved consistency, target torque and overall finish quality. This tool identifies the clamping load as the target characteristic, accounting for small joint variations in Torx and Phillips head fasteners. Count the number of screws tightened for additional confirmation of success, alert the operator of any unseated screws and retry the position or halt before parts leave the station. The NSRi screw feeder allows for optimized and timely presenting of the screws. If a screw is not available at the pickup location, a signal is sent to the robot to wait until the fastener arrives.
