Progressive Die & Stamping, Inc. (PDS; Algood, TN) is uniquely positioned with extensive in-house capabilities that include advanced stamping equipment and a complete tool and die design and fabrication shop. The company has the capacity to stamp parts up to 50 inches in length, 14 inches in width, with a draw depth of up to 5 inches. These are servo feed precision stamping systems that are ideally suited for blanking, forming and deep drawn progressive die stamping, delivering tolerances as close as 2 thousandths of an inch.
Because PDS designs and fabricates all of its own tooling, the company can work closely with customers to develop and refine their designs, ensuring that the tooling provides maximum performance with repeatable quality. For volume runs of flat formed designs or blanking, the company can provide savings of 20 to 25% over laser cutting.
