The Manufacturing Leadership Council (MLC), the digital transformation division of the National Association of Manufacturers, announced the election of Kristen DellaVecchia, Corporate Sustainability Project Manager at Corning Incorporated, and Mike Trevorrow, Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing at General Motors, to the MLC’s Board of Governors.

The MLC Board of Governors is an advisory body composed of senior manufacturing executives who provide strategic guidance to the council on its Critical Issues agenda, research initiatives and programs designed to help manufacturers advance on their Manufacturing 4.0 journeys.

“Manufacturers have an unprecedented opportunity to connect digital innovation, operational excellence and sustainability in ways that create lasting value for businesses, communities and the environment,” DellaVecchia said. “I look forward to working with fellow board members to help manufacturers navigate this transformation and shape the future of our industry."

DellaVecchia was a finalist in the 2026 Next-Generation Leadership category of the Manufacturing Leadership Awards. She leads data-driven initiatives at Corning that improve manufacturing efficiency while advancing environmental performance. Combining experience in software development, process automation and environmental sustainability, she has enhanced enterprise-wide dashboards and data pipelines to expose energy, waste, water and emissions data to plant leadership, and has led corporate goal-setting that aligns science-based sustainability targets with manufacturing constraints across Corning’s global sites. She also serves as president of Corning’s 1,000-plus member Sustainability Network, mobilizing employees and resources to accelerate high-impact sustainability projects.

Trevorrow was named Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing at GM in June 2025, a role in which he is responsible for more than 100 manufacturing sites across 10 countries and four continents. He began his career at GM in 1985 as a die maker apprentice, and over the past four decades has built extensive expertise across manufacturing operations, engineering, quality, finance, labor relations and safety.

“Kristen’s work translating enterprise data into measurable sustainability outcomes, paired with Mike’s four decades of hands-on manufacturing leadership at global scale, will further strengthen the board’s ability to guide the MLC’s mission as manufacturers navigate an increasingly complex and technology-driven environment,” Manufacturing Leadership Council Founder, Executive Director and Vice President David Brousell said.
