India Eyes Record Satellite Launch in 2017

India's low-cost and quick turnaround satellite missions have been attracting a lot of global attention.

According to reports from Delhi, India is targeting the launch a record 68 foreign satellites in one space mission next year. The state-owned Indian Space Research Organization has orders from various countries, including PlanetiQ - a U.S.-based weather forecasting satellite firm.

India's ability to launch satellites at a lower cost and with quicker turnaround times has attracted a great deal of interest form the scientific community and other countries.
