Isel USA (Hicksville, NY), formerly Techno Inc, has released its newest LEZ 1 Belt Drive Actuator. The Automation Stick has a small profile and simple design that allows it to satisfy difficult automation applications. Features include:
- A cross section of 44 mm (H) x 30 mm (W).
- Driven by a 9 mm HTD belt.
- Availability in standard travels from 153 mm to 2,853 mm.
- Suitable for use in tight spaces.
- A slide with a 70 mm wide carriage to be able to mount objects while still maintaining a compact profile.
- Applicability in sensor positioning, camera positioning, spraying and dispensing.
- A max speed of 1.5m/sec.
- The ability to be ordered with no motor, a 50 Ncm stepper motor, or a 160 Ncm stepper motor with a 2:1 belt drive.
- Limit switches at both ends of travel.
- Standard lengths that range up to 3 m — lengths up to 5 m are also available.
- Usability as XY and XYZ configurations.
- A belt actuator with ±0.2 mm (±.008“) repeatability.
- Availability with a complete electronic controller package for an out of the box solution.
