In 2026, the industrial automation market is expected to approach some $300 billion. By 2034, in just eight years, that figure stands to more than double, according to Fortune Business Insights.

A growing market demands greater coverage from the "Industrial Equipment News" editorial staff. With that, I'm honored to debut the latest edition to our portfolio, the "Industrial Automation Today" daily newsletter. Every day, the newsletter will cover the latest in industrial automation technology, showcasing new products, technology and applications that help manufacturing professionals improve their day-to-day tasks and plan for the future.

The idea has been in the works for some time, but we held off on the launch to coincide with Day 1 of IMTS, the largest manufacturing technology trade show in North America. The tradeshow showcases the latest and greatest industrial automation technology, much of which we will cover in this newsletter starting today. Note: We're on the tradeshow floor all week, so if you have something special that you're showcasing at the event, please reach out; we would love to learn more about it.

I'll be leading our editorial efforts on the newsletter, so if you would like to contribute or have a new product or technology you think the industrial automation world needs to see, please reach out at [email protected].

The newsletter serves a mix of industrial automation professionals, primarily in maintenance and operations, executive management and engineering. So far, the readership is a diverse mix, including people working in small shops all the way up to executive management at Tier-1 manufacturers. If you'd like to sign up, let me know, and I'll make sure you're added to the list.
