Hazardous Location Enclosure Cooler Gives Lowest Cost of Ownership

Cooling Solution for In-Process Analyzer delivers high reliability and cost effectiveness

The need for in-process testing and automation continues to rise, and Applied Rigaku Technologies has responded to this need with their NEX OL Process Elemental Analyzer, an energy-dispersive, X-ray fluorescent spectrometer. It allows clients to analyze in real-time and achieve tighter process control and avoid product rejection.

When implementing analyzers for in-process applications, the equipment, including any cooling solutions, must be compatible with area classification requirements.  Working with industrial distributor, ISC Sales, Rigaku chose Vortec’s HazLoc Vortex A/C Enclosure coolers to provide cooling for their spectrometers. The HazLoc cooler achieves the highest “BTU per dollar” (AKA bang for the buck) when compared to other cooling solutions for Hazardous Locations, according to Rigaku President and CEO Robert Bartek.  Learn more in the video.
