Magid Glove & Safety Named to Top Workplaces USA List for the Second Consecutive Year

Magid was also named to the Chicago Tribune Top Workplaces list for the second consecutive year.

PPE manufacturer and distributor, Magid Glove & Safety (Romeoville, IL) has been named to the Top Workplaces USA list in the 500-999 employee company size category for the second consecutive year. This award celebrates companies that prioritize a people-centered culture to create an exceptional place to work.

The 2023 USA Top Workplaces were revealed virtually on February 1st by actor Brian Baumgartner who is most notably known for playing Kevin Malone in The Office sitcom. “What do Top Workplaces do that others don’t?” Asked Baumgartner. “Top Workplaces prioritize people-first cultures; they put employees first when it matters most.”

“We strive to create a people-first culture at Magid where our team members feel like they can be themselves, take time to have fun, and know that the work they do makes a difference,” said Jen Almodovar, Magid’s Executive Vice President of People. “We are honored to be named a USA Top Workplace for the second consecutive year because this award emphasizes the strong employee culture our team continues to support and build together.”

In November 2023, Magid was also named to the local Chicago Tribune Top Workplaces list for the second consecutive year. Headquartered in Romeoville, Illinois, Magid employs more than 1,000 people worldwide. The company offers walking tracks, game courts, a subsidized café, and a flexible work-life balance with a hybrid schedule of three days a week in the office and two days of “work from anywhere.”

“Our team provides groundbreaking innovations and safety expertise to help our customers keep their workers safe. There’s satisfaction in knowing the work we do makes a difference,” explained Almodovar. “Combine that with leaders who embrace opportunities such as a mid-day walk to relieve stress, or employees feeling comfortable enough to flex their hours so they can make it to their children’s school play, and the result is an energized team that feels valued and wants to work together toward success.”
