Stackpole Electronics, Inc. has expanded the resistance value range for its SM4527, the 2W surface mount molded wirewound resistors.
Resistance values were limited to 0.01 ohm to 0.05 ohms, but now the SM45727 offers values up to 1K ohms in tolerances of 1% and 5%.
The expansion allows for the size to be used for a wider range of applications that require a 2W surface mount resistor with the electrical performance and TCR that wirewound technology provides.
