Würth Industry North America's agreement with Markforged, a leading provider of industrial metal and composite 3D printers, is the latest move by the world’s largest industrial distributor to expand and enhance its support of 3D printing activities for OEM customers. By integrating access to 3D printing technology with existing kanban programs, Wurth feels it will be able to assist manufacturers in getting products to market more quickly, while reducing sourcing, purchasing, inventory and transportation costs.
