Rockwell Automation recently held their annual Automation Fair at Chicago's McCormick Place. The event drew over 15,000 attendees and more than 150 leading suppliers of digital technologies. Amongst the numerous opportunities afforded by the event was the chance to discuss key industry initiatives and critical issues on the trade show floor.
This included a conversation with Alexander Van Der Weide of nVent Hoffman. He discusses some of the steps his panel and enclosure company has taken in addressing concerns over production downtime and finding skilled workers. He also mentions a new offering that looks to simplify the engineering assets needed to ensure customers realize the full benefits of his products and get more work done without increasing headcount.
