First Musk, Now Putin’s Inner Circle

The 19-year-old who grabbed headlines for tracking billionaires' private jets is at it again.

Jack Sweeney seems to revel in opportunities to enlighten the masses by annoying a select few.

The 19-year-old who grabbed headlines for creating an automated Twitter account tracking Elon Musk’s private jet is at it again.

This time his targets are Russian oligarchs: a collection of billionaires that President Biden described in his State of the Union address as “corrupt leaders who have bilked billions off this violent regime.”

The account is called Russian Oligarch Jets. In addition to announcing their comings and goings, the account also posts data such as the amount of CO2 emissions and cost of fuel for each trip.

The U.S. has pledged to seize the assets of many of these members of Vladimir Putin’s inner circle, including their yachts, jets and mansions.

The recent movement of these assets to “friendlier” locations is rumored to stem from concerns over these seizures.
