According to the German company Hubtex, there are two key elements when transporting automotive prototypes: camouflage and security.
With this in mind, the company recently unveiled their FTP 32. It features a modular composition for customizing the FTP’s profile according to the prototype’s design.
This ensures a compact design and tighter turning radius.
The electric, three-wheeled vehicle can handle over 7,000 pounds and measures 8.2’ wide and 23.2’ long.
An intelligent loading device automatically locks it into place on a trailer, and remote controls allow for manually positioning the sliding cover to ensure secrecy.
Additional features include laser beam alignment for loading and unloading on trailers, ultrasonic sensors, and three exterior cameras to help protect against collisions or bumps during transport.
