Get Porsche's Cheapest Taycan with 'Contactless Delivery'

It’s still going to take a little more than a hundred grand to get in the door.

When you pair the words “entry level” and “Porsche,” what kinds of questions does it conjure? Does the name brand in sports cars actually have something to offer the average person? Haha. No. The answer is no.

That said, Porsche has announced its lowest cost Taycan model yet, and though the savings are dramatic compared to other options, it’s still going to take a little more than a hundred grand to get in the door.

The Taycan is being touted as a Tesla rival -- as every nice-ish electric car is nowadays -- and alternate versions, the Turbo and Turbo S, ring in at $151K and $185K respectively. But the new Taycan 4S actually costs much less and gets more miles per charge.

The EPA puts the 4S range at 203 miles, and it reportedly features 562 horsepower via combined motors, meaning it can go from zero to 60 in 3.8 seconds. Top speed is 155 miles per hour -- not too shabby for an “entry level” EV.

Sounds like Porsche is still happy to sell you one right now, despite the virus, and offers “contactless home delivery”
