The 2026 Taiwan International Tools & Hardware Expo x International Hardware Expo Taiwan (TiTE x IHT), will take place October 20–22 at the Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Center (TICEC). Co-organized by the Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers' Association (THTMA) and Lanza International Co., Ltd., this year's show features 450 exhibitors across more than 1,000 booths.
Organizers secured more than 100 hosted international buyers, the largest delegation in the show's history. More than 25 international trade media outlets will also be on site to cover the event.
"Through tariff negotiations, overseas expansion and shifting order patterns, Taiwanese manufacturers have continued to win customers on the strength of their technology and reliability and global confidence in Taiwan's supply chain has only grown stronger," Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers' Association Chairman Alan Hsieh said. "We are especially grateful to the International Trade Administration for organizing the pre-show sourcing meetings. The Association will continue to support our members in smart manufacturing and low-carbon transformation and in co-developing higher-value products with international partners."
Global Outreach, Led by Strong North American Demand
Anticipating new sourcing demand driven by supply chain realignment, Lanza International significantly expanded its overseas promotion this year, exhibiting across Europe and Asia while extending its buyer outreach to the Americas. In Europe, the team exhibited at the International Hardware Fair Cologne, the Global DIY Summit in Amsterdam and Automechanika Frankfurt.
In Asia, the team attended the Japan DIY Homecenter Show, the China International Hardware Show in Shanghai and Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City, meeting face-to-face with distributors, brand owners and importers. This year's hosted buyers span five continents, with North America, led by the United States, accounting for the largest share. The delegation also includes buyers from Germany and Japan, as well as emerging markets in Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East and Latin America.
TiTE x IHT also entered a reciprocal exchange with the Japan DIY Homecenter Show, strengthening links between the two countries' hardware and home improvement retail sectors. Mitsuki Takeda, Vice Chairman of the Japan DIY Homecenter Association, will attend the opening ceremony and deliver a keynote address at the Global Hardware Innovation Summit.
Taichung sits at the heart of Taiwan's hardware and hand tool manufacturing. Within a 20-minute drive of the venue, buyers can reach a complete supply chain, from material processing, forging and heat treatment to surface finishing and final assembly. The region's tightly networked small and medium-sized manufacturers combine high-mix, low-volume flexibility with consistent quality and reliable delivery.
TiTE x IHT plans to capitalize on this proximity through its "Exhibition as Factory" model. Buyers can confirm specifications on the show floor in the morning and tour production lines that same afternoon, reviewing quality control processes and delivery capabilities firsthand.

Pre-Show Sourcing Meetings Kick Off October 19
On October 19, the day before the show opens, the International Trade Administration of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs (ITA), with TAITRA as the executing agency, will host one-on-one sourcing meetings between nearly 60 international buyers and Taiwanese suppliers, covering hardware components, plumbing fixtures and hand tools. The next day, buyers can walk the TiTE x IHT show floor and visit nearby factories.
"Today's buyers want more than a look at products," Lanza International Co. General Manager Andrew Liu said. "They want to evaluate suppliers and make sourcing decisions as efficiently as possible. This year, our team visited six major trade shows and extended our outreach to the Americas to introduce buyers to Taichung's industrial strengths. Together with the Association, we are committed to making Taichung the first stop for global buyers sourcing Taiwanese hardware."
From Resilience to Co-Creation
TiTE x IHT expects the signing of the Taiwan-U.S. reciprocal trade agreement to place Taiwan on equal footing with Japan, South Korea and the European Union, strengthening the export competitiveness of its hand tool, plumbing and machinery industries.
Last year, TiTE x IHT was the first international trade show held at the newly opened TICEC, under the theme "Team Taiwan — Building New Resilience in Taiwanese Manufacturing." This year, the show shifts its focus from resilience to co-creation under the theme "From Manufacturing to Co-Creation: AI Empowerment & Smart Upgrading," encouraging Taiwanese manufacturers to move beyond supplying products toward co-developing them with international partners, while adopting AI and smart manufacturing to create greater value.
The show spans eight exhibition zones, including tools and accessories, metalworking, automotive repair and EVs, fasteners and digital manufacturing.
