Metal Screw Found in Peanut Butter

A batch of Singlong crunchy peanut butter has been voluntarily recalled in Singapore after a metal screw was found in one of its bottles.The Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) said in a statement that it has worked with the importer to investigate the incident.

The duo found that the metal screw could have been introduced during the manufacturing process. Singlong peanut butter is made in China. As a precautionary measure, the importer voluntarily recalled the specific batch in question. Those who have bought the affected product have been advised not to eat it.
