Lordstown, OH — A company that produces seats for the Chevrolet Cruze has announced it is shutting down in the wake of General Motors' decision to idle the Ohio plant that builds the cars.

Lordstown Seating Systems is a subsidiary of automotive supply company Magna.

A notice filed with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services said the company with lay off almost all its workers at its northeastern Ohio facility.

The Warren Tribune Chronicle reports about 120 employees will be affected, with layoffs expected to happen as soon as Feb. 25.

The announcement was the second this month involving a supplier to the Lordstown GM plant.

The United Steel Workers said last week that Source Providers, Inc., a subsidiary of Comprehensive Logistics Co., will also close.
