ABB Cuts 100 Jobs

The decision was forced by challenging market conditions and increasing competition.

According to a report from Reuters, engineering firm ABB will cut 100 jobs from its plant in Geneva.  

According to the company, the production will be shifted to Poland.  

Over the next three years, the company will shift large-scale production of traction transformers, which are used by trains.  

ABB said that the decision was forced by challenging market conditions and increasing competition. 

About 112 jobs will remain at the Geneva facility.
