The HBS 1000 was developed by toolmakers to help reduce the body pain and fatigue that results from standing for long stretches. The HBS1000 is made from powder-coated carbon steel and uses detent pins and star knobs for simple adjustments. The unit anchors to the floor and can be horizontally adjusted to accommodate each worker in improving shin comfort. A pad is suspended from the floor to provide clearance between the floor and pad to ensure unimpeded movement to and from the work area. The result is a balance point for the lower legs to take the strain out of the lower back, legs, feet and neck.
