Stablelock Side and Push Clamps for Superior Tool Access

Clamping action is engaged and disengaged by simply turning the handle.

Fixtureworks Sized

Fixtureworks (Fraser, MI) has bolstered its array of clamps, modular fixturing and set-up accessories by offering the stable and reliable Stablelock side and push clamps.

For high-volume repetitive applications, the side clamp concept consists of a moving jaw that simultaneously travels forward and downward to securely lock workpieces in position. At the same time, the clamps’ design typically provides low profile gripping of the workpiece on the side and permits open accessibility to surfaces for machine tool paths and processing operations, completing multi-task work in single machine setups and fewer fixturing requirements. Additionally:

  • The side clamp, identified as QLSCW,  features a clamping mechanism that forces the jaw forward, providing a long stroke and firm clamping.
  • The jaw also creates a downward force which prevents lifting of the part.
  • Clamping action is engaged and disengaged by simply turning the handle.
  • The clamping force is constant, and the handle has a "click" feel at the clamping end point, preventing workpiece damage due to overtightening.
  • Indication lines on the handle and body align to clearly show when the clamp is locked or unlocked.
