Fixtureworks (Fraser, MI) now offers 5-axis modular hook-type pull clamping systems. They are made from premium alloy steels, hardened for wear, given a black oxide finish and precision ground for accuracy.
This hook-type clamping system provides optimum downward forces to securely hold workpieces to fixture bases for safe, rigid and consistent machining, fabrication and assembly operations.
Features:
- Design maintains low profile to minimize obstructions and interference with tool paths and processing access
- Clamps can be mounted directly to fixture base adapted to accept clamp base or attached to fixture using clamp holder
- Designed for use on horizontal machining centers
- Safe and easy loading and unloading of heavy workpieces or fixture plates with simple and single set up with quick clamping
- Hook-shaped clamping screws that mount onto hook modules
