
Force Control Industries (FAIRFIELD, OH) introduces a new line of Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) compliant thruster brakes under the brand name HYDRASTOP. These spring-set, electrohydraulic thruster-released brakes are currently available for 6–13” drums, with plans for larger sizes and a complete disc brake series.
HYDRASTOP thruster brakes are used to statically hold and/or dynamically stop loads in industrial applications such as cranes, movable bridges, conveyors, stadium covers, mining drag lines, and marine deck equipment.
