Bird Precision (Waltham, MA) offers a unique series of laser drilled, wire lapped Ruby and Sapphire orifices. Orifices and filters are packaged in a variety of stainless, brass, and plastic fittings, connectors and inserts.
The company has added a number of new stainless compression fittings, such as glands, face seal unions, bulkheads and tees.
For low flow control, the company's Micron Series gives the designer flows from less than .5 SCCM dry air. Standard sizes are available up to .081", and extreme wear and chemical resistance make the orifices a choice for harsh environments.
