Eaton (Syracuse, NY) has announced its latest innovation in industrial and hazardous-area lighting, Crouse-Hinds series Champ CPMV and WPMV LEDs. The wallpacks are designed for vertical surface lighting applications in industrial environments and Class I, Division 2 areas, providing high-performance, maintenance-free illumination for 60,000+ hours of operation at 40°C to +55°C and up to 116 lumens per watt.
Compared to 150 watt HID lighting solutions, the Champ CPMV and WPMV LED wallpacks can deliver a 70 percent gain in energy efficiency, 65 percent decrease in total cost of ownership and a 100 percent reduction in maintenance requirements over the life of the fixture.
