TayMac (South Bend, IN) markets the MR420 series of recessed outdoor wall outlet covers. The line of non-metallic covers is designed for use with all common siding types and materials. The TayMac MR420 recessed outlet cover delivers weatherproof in-use protection with a clean and compact all-in-one design. Versus traditional bubble covers, the unit is optimal for applications where space and aesthetics are important. Mount enclosed devices either horizontally or vertically. The MR420 can be stud or wall mounted for either new work and old work. Specifically:
- These enclosures include the electrical box and optional siding flange.
- The cover is 2-3/4in. deep, providing room for large plugs while maintaining a near flush profile.
- The electrical box features a 21 cubic inch capacity, two eccentric knockouts and four NM sheathed cable clamps. All mounting hardware is included.
- Adapters in the kit accommodate single gang duplex, GFCI or round receptacles. Receptacles are not included. Available in Gray, White or Bronze, the enclosure is also paintable.
