The DCC Series from Caplugs (Buffalo, NY) is designed to provide electrostatic discharge protection for rectangular D-subminiature input and out connectors. The caps are available in either black conductive polyethylene copolymer or pink static dissipative ethylene vinyl acetate, and are molded with an internal flange for easy application and removal. The materials feature a surface resistivity of less than 1 x 05 ohms/square in accordance with ASTM test method D-257-78 and meet the Static Decay requirements of MIL-PRF-81705E, Type II and Federal Test Method Standard No. 101, Method 4046. The DCC Series is available in 12 sizes.
