While these crafty DIYers have boasted of their efforts online, Tito's has been forced to respond with a note that it's vodka doesn't meet the current CDC recommendation for alcohol content.
According to Tito's, in many, many replies on Twitter:
"Per the CDC, hand sanitizer needs to contain at least 60% alcohol. Tito's Handmade Vodka is 40% alcohol, and therefore does not meet the current recommendation of the CDC."
