Denali Ingredients recently announced plans to expand its New Berlin, Wisconsin manufacturing facility by 98,000-square-feet. Primary components of the investment will include a state-of-the-art commercial oven for producing a new line of brownie and cheesecake pieces used in ice cream and other sweet treats. This expansion will double the production space and improve production flow of the company's extruded doughs, bits, flakes and bark products.

Additionally, frozen storage capacity is tripling and sanitation equipment will be tripled. Isolated production spaces, a quality control lab outfitted with updated testing equipment, LED lights, high-efficiency boilers, water heaters and air handling systems, as well as a robust recycling program will all be included in the project.

Since Denali Ingredients purchased the business in 2006, revenue and the size of the workforce has reportedly tripled.
