A maker of powders and syrups sweetened with allulose was acquired last year by North Course Brands, officials announced Thursday.
North Course purchased RxSugar from Nutrishus Brands Inc. for an undisclosed amount.
RxSugar’s portfolio includes an organic pancake syrup, a chocolate syrup and “Swealthy Stix.” Its new owner called the label “the leading brand of allulose-based food products in the global marketplace.”
"We're thrilled to welcome RxSugar into the North Course family," North Course Brands Chairman David Jiang said in a statement. "This acquisition aligns perfectly with our vision to bring innovative, better-for-you products to market.”
