Frito-Lay has announced a limited voluntary recall of 7.33-ounce bags of Stacy’s Simply Naked Pita Chips because they may contain undeclared milk ingredients. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious allergic reaction if they consume the product.

The chips were distributed nationwide and have both a “Use By” date of 23 APR 2019. No other Stacy’s products or flavors are recalled at this time.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that more than 200 bags of the chips were inadvertently filled with another flavor of pita chips, potentially exposing consumers to undeclared milk.

One consumer allergic reaction related to this matter has been reported to date. Frito-Lay has informed the FDA of its actions.
