WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Domino's pizza is building a new plant in Lexington County that will provide dough to franchises across South Carolina and the Southeast.

Gov. Henry McMaster says the new facility in West Columbia should open by the summer of 2020 and employ 75 people.

Officials say along with dough, the plant will also create and provide restaurants with other pizza ingredients and supplies.

The state provided Domino's with job development credits, which is money to help with the costs of locating the new plant in South Carolina. A news release didn't detail exactly what credits were offered.
