Breaded Chicken Patty

Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. is recalling approximately 101,310 pounds of  ready-to-eat breaded chicken patties that may be contaminated with extraneous rubber materials, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). The specific products subject to the recall are 30-lb. boxes with six five-lb. clear bags.

The product was shipped to food service customers across the country, including schools. The problem came to light after Pilgrim's Pride received a customer complaint. The foreign material is being attributed to an equipment failure at the production facility.
