Honeywell Process Solutions (Houston, TX) has announced the launch of its Connected Plant Uniformance Cloud Historian. This new offering is a software-as-a-service cloud hosting solution for enterprise-wide visualization and analysis. Features include:

  • The ability to fuse real-time process data analysis with historical data by integrating production, ERP and other business data.
  • Collects, stores and enables replay of historical and continuous plant and production site process data, and makes it visible in the cloud in near real time.
  • The option of combining a time series data store with a big data lake in uncovering previously unknown correlations between process and other business data.
  • The ability to use a customer’s existing tools and functions.

Honeywell feels the historian should make it quicker and easier for users to access, analyze, and leverage data to improve both plant and enterprise performance while reducing costs.
