Woman Killed at Rail Car Plant in Alabama

She was taken to the hospital after she was caught in machinery.

MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. (AP) — A woman is dead following an accident at a railroad car factory in north Alabama.

News outlets report that the death occurred Tuesday at FreightCar America in Colbert County.

According to WHNT, Angel Foster was injured when she was caught in machinery. She was taken to the hospital but died soon after.

FreightCar America is based in Chicago. Its website says the decade-old factory is more than 2 million square feet in size and manufactures different sorts of railroad cars.
