The RMCP-SH Series from Caplugs (Buffalo, NY) is a line of resealable masking cap/plugs designed to protect a variety of copper inlet and outlet tubes on HVAC compressor units during coating and pressure testing. An innovative design allows the parts in this series to be used for both masking and sealing applications, eliminating the need for two separate components. Available in six sizes to fit common tube sizes from 5/16” to 7/8”, the rubber cap/plugs of the RCMP-SH Series reseal following any nitrogen charging that may occur during shipping.
