As global supply chains accelerate their restructuring, international buyers are shifting focus beyond price alone—prioritizing quality, delivery reliability, regulatory compliance, low-carbon manufacturing and long-term supply resilience. In response, TiTE x IHT has officially launched its "Global Buyer Invitation Program," targeting international brand owners, major retail chains, import distributors, dealers and corporate procurement representatives with clear sourcing demands to visit Taiwan for exhibitions and business negotiations.

Co-organized by the Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers' Association (THTMA) and Lanza International Co., Ltd., the 2026 Taiwan International Tools & Hardware Expo x International Hardware Expo Taiwan (TiTE x IHT) will take place from October 20 to 22 at the Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Center (TICEC).

Under the central theme "From Manufacturing to Co-Creation," the expo focuses on smart manufacturing, AI applications, net-zero transition and cross-border joint development, with expectations to feature over 500 exhibitors and more than 1,000 booths.

From Cologne to Amsterdam: Deepening the Global Buyer Network

In March this year, TiTE x IHT kicked off its overseas promotion campaign at the EISENWARENMESSE - International Hardware Fair Cologne in Germany. Executed by TAITRA under the commission of the International Trade Administration (TIDA), Ministry of Economic Affairs, the "Taiwan Flagship Showcase" made its grand debut.

Operating under "Team Taiwan," it integrated the industrial capabilities of Taiwan’s hand tools, fasteners and related sectors. Through immersive displays, buyer tours, product launches and networking, it showcased Taiwan manufacturing's innovative strength and supply resilience to global markets, successfully attracting over 2,000 buyer visits.

Capitalizing on the global momentum generated in Cologne, the TiTE x IHT team actively promoted the upcoming October expo and Central Taiwan’s manufacturing cluster. In June, the Lanza International project team traveled to Amsterdam, Netherlands, to participate in the Global DIY-Summit—the premier decision-making platform for global home improvement and building materials channels. The team engaged directly with major retail channels, brand owners, import agents, distributors and procurement executives across Europe, America and Asia.

From promoting industry image in Cologne to cultivating channel buyers in Amsterdam, TiTE x IHT continues to link government promotional resources, Taiwan’s industrial advantages and global procurement demands. The expo is progressively building a comprehensive service ecosystem spanning overseas promotion, buyer invitation, business matchmaking and factory visits—boosting international buyers' willingness to visit Taiwan and maximizing tangible benefits for participating exhibitors.

Golden Sourcing Week Meets "Exhibition as Factory": Creating High-Efficiency Sourcing Itineraries

Seamlessly aligning with the Autumn Canton Fair, TiTE x IHT has planned the "International Buyer Golden Sourcing Week." It invites overseas buyers visiting Asia to integrate Taichung into their itinerary, offering accommodation subsidies, business matchmaking and industrial visits. This enables buyers to connect with more Taiwanese suppliers within a concentrated timeframe while generating concrete international partnership opportunities for exhibitors.

Leveraging Central Taiwan’s high-density industrial clusters across hardware, hand tools, precision machinery, metal processing and fasteners, the expo promotes an "Exhibition as Factory / Front-Showroom, Back-Factory" sourcing model.

International buyers can compare products, confirm specifications and negotiate partnerships on the exhibition floor, then travel to nearby factories within minutes to inspect manufacturing processes, quality control and production capacities. This allows buyers to complete the entire sourcing process—from viewing exhibits to matchmaking and factory audits—within 24 hours, significantly reducing supplier development and evaluation cycles.

This year's expo features eight specialized exhibit zones: Tools & Accessories, Metal Processing, Plant Equipment & Industrial Safety, Automotive Service & EV, Fasteners, Garden & Outdoor, Building & Home Repair and Digital Smart Manufacturing. Together, they fully demonstrate Taiwan’s comprehensive supply capabilities—from product manufacturing and custom development to joint R&D and system integration—attracting global buyers and premier enterprises to benchmark TiTE x IHT as a key annual sourcing and exhibition destination.

Uniting Industry, Linking the World: Co-Creating Tangible Business Opportunities

Hsieh Wu-Chi, Chairman of the Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers' Association, stated that the association will continue to unite the manufacturing prowess and innovative energy of Taiwan’s hand tool industry. Through TiTE x IHT, it will fully showcase cluster and supply chain advantages, fostering joint development and long-term partnerships between international buyers and Taiwanese manufacturers.

Andrew Liu, General Manager of Lanza International Co., Ltd., emphasized that the team will leverage its role as an international exhibition platform to drive overseas marketing, global buyer invitations, business matchmaking and industrial tours—bringing international procurement demand to Taiwan and helping domestic enterprises expand into global markets.

Currently, booth reservations have exceeded 80%, while international buyer invitations and accommodation subsidy applications are actively underway. The organizers cordially invite global hardware channels, brand owners, import agents, distributors and OEM/ODM procurement representatives to gather in Taichung this October to experience Taiwan’s full supply capabilities—from manufacturing and joint R&D to integrated supply—and make TiTE x IHT a top-priority destination on their annual business calendar.
