Mean Well USA, a provider of power solutions, recently announced the opening of the Mean Well USA New Jersey Service Center (NJSC). The expansion is designed to help the company service North American customers.

Mean Well strategically relocated to a new facility just 30 minutes from downtown Philadelphia and 90 minutes from New York City. The NJSC is a 6,000-sq-ft facility that plays a vital role in delivering local sales and engineering support services, according to the company.

Mean Well says the NJSC is a hub of innovation and expertise. The center will soon feature a state-of-the-art training facility where Mean Well will host product demonstrations, technical seminars, and training sessions. Additionally, the NJSC is equipped with an engineering lab dedicated to product testing and troubleshooting.

The facility is powered by a 40 kW rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system, generating more than 46,000 kWh of renewable electricity annually.

Mean Well was founded in 1982 and is ranked as the third largest global power supply (DC output) maker, according to a report by Micro Technology Consultant released in March 2021.
