Robert Bunting Nominated as Interim Treasurer of PEMA

Bunting will fulfill the treasurer role until March 1.

The Process Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (PEMA) Nominating Committee selected Robert to serve as interim treasurer until March 1, 2024. The Board of Directors approved the nomination unanimously, and Robert will fulfill the treasurer role until March 1, 2024, along with continued fiduciary duties as a member of the Board. He has been nominated for the position of vice president to be voted upon by all PEMA members on March 1.

Robert strives to be actively involved in industry associations having served in multiple positions in PEMA. He is the President and CEO of Bunting, a company that bears his family’s name. Bunting founded in 1959 by Walter Bunting in Chicago, is one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of magnetic separators, metal detectors, materials handling, magnetic printing cylinders, magnets, magnet assemblies and magnetizing equipment. 

PEMA, formed in 1960, is a trade association for North American manufacturers of processing equipment. It is focused on connectivity. PEMA provides member interaction, business alliance expansion, industry knowledge and professional cooperation.
