Thomas & Betts (Memphis, TN) has expanded its line of Sta-Kon wire termination tools with the addition of the battery-operated Sta-Kon BAT22-6NV2 electromechanical micro-crimping tool, which performs approximately 150,000 crimps in its expected service life. The Sta-Kon BAT22-6NV2 includes an extra replacement battery with each unit. It is powered with a high-performance 10.8V lithium-ion battery. The battery’s charge status is displayed on the tool. Other features include:

  • One-button operation for controlling all tooling functions and an electronic control with a lock function that monitors complete closing of the dies.
  • Automatic retraction when operation is complete, manual retraction when needed and powerful drive technology for effortless operation.
  • A key ring included for use with a tool balancer and to secure the BAT22-6NV2 in the field.
  • Multifunction LED displays, providinig workplace illumination, maintenance display and data transfer.
