EDAC (Markham, Ontario, Canada) introduces new Waterproof IP67 inline plug and socket connectors. According to the company, a unique double latch provides superior resistance to shock and vibration. Polarized shells allow mating only one way and are designed to prevent any damage to contacts if miss-mated. Additionally, an optional port plug is available for unused positions, and two future I/O ports are available which can be wired up in the field. Features include:
- The ability to utilize simple crimp and Poke contacts for easy assembly with both hand crimp tools and machine press applicator dies available.
- 560 series: rated 250 volts and 3 amps.
- 572 series: rated 300 Volts and 10 amps.
- Both wire to wire and wire to board versions and finished cable assemblies available.
EDAC also offers custom capabilities in order to easily modify these connectors to fit your design and application.
