Steute (Ridgefield, CT) business unit "Extreme" will present an expansion of its ZS 92S/SR series at the Solids 2022.
These emergency pull-wire and belt alignment switches have been "packaged" in a die-cast aluminum enclosure for unfavorable ambient conditions thanks to multiple coatings:
- Passivation
- Base coat
- Powder coat
Users can now alternatively opt for an enclosure which is made out of duroplastic and is anti-corrosive. All screws and connecting elements are stainless steel.
The expansion includes:
- Flexibility.
- The ZS 92 S available with a variety of pre-installed settings for the release lever and the unlocking mechanism.
- Installation dimensions that are compatible with other readily available emergency pull-wire and belt alignment switches.
- Adjustable switching points for advance warning and switch off in 5° steps in the ZS 92 SR belt alignment switch.
- Reduced release forces and paths when actuating the emergency stop function making sure the safety switch is easier to operate and all the international standards are reliably met.
