API International (Tualatin, OR) has launched CleanLine, a new line of NSF-certified stainless steel products for drinking-water and clean-water applications.
The new product line expands API International’s waterworks and sanitary process offerings for projects requiring NSF-certified components. CleanLine products are certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 for drinking-water system health effects and NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 for lead-content requirements.
The initial offering includes flanges manufactured to AWWA C228, ASME B16.5 and ASME B16.47 Series A and Series B standards. Available configurations include slip-on, blind and weld-neck flanges, with raised-face and flat-face options.
Products are offered in dual-grade 304/304L and 316/316L stainless steel. Both provide corrosion resistance and durability, while 316/316L is well suited for systems exposed to higher chloride levels or more corrosive water conditions.
Applications include municipal drinking-water systems, water treatment plants, wells, pump and valve connections, filtration and reverse-osmosis systems, potable-water storage, and finished-water piping. The line also expands API International’s reach into food and beverage, pharmaceutical, sanitary process and OEM water-treatment applications where NSF-certified components may be required.
