Tri-Mer Corporation (Owosso, MI) has debuted a new line of industrial bag filters for gas volumes up to 880,000 acfm.
Tri-Mer bag filters are suitable for the broadest range of dust types, loadings and flow ranges. Bag filter elements consist of a fabric bag and a support cage which is mounted from the clean gas side. Filter elements fit precisely in the housing, providing a perfect seal against bypass without the use of screws. Additionally:
- Incoming gas flows through the textile filter from outside to inside; particulate is retained on the outside.
- A key advantage is fully optimized distribution of the cleaning energy over the entire filter surface.
- Tri-Mer bag filters are engineered for low mechanical stress on the filter fabric, a factor which contributes to long service life.
- Material options include PTFE and PTFE membrane, polyester needlefelt, Nomex, acrylic felt, fiberglass and Aramid felt.
- The unique design of these vertical, circular bag filters accommodates filter lengths up to 30 ft. Filter elements are easy to handle and are supplied with split cages where indicated.
- Tri-Mer bag filters are suitable for flow rates from 588 to 880,000 acfm. Higher dust loadings can be managed with pre-separation cambers.
