Van Nuys, CA – Recently, Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc. (OES) introduced the BT-SN50 Z-axis Stage, a compact and high-resolution vertical lift stage designed for laboratory and optical bench use where space and cleanliness are critical.

The BT-SN50 is designed to provide precise vertical positioning in laboratory, inspection, laser machining, and production environments, particularly where high resolution and compact form factor are required.

Features & Benefits:

  • 50 mm of Z-axis travel with 125 mm x 125 mm footprint
  • Driven by a two-phase stepper motor with precision ground lead screw (1.5875 mm/turn)
  • Resolution: 0.794 microns (with 10 micro-steps per step driver)
  • Positional accuracy: 2 microns; high parallelism
  • 125 mm square stage table with 16 threaded mounting holes
  • Load capacity up to 50 kg
  • Integrated limit switches prevent over travel
  • Fully enclosed black anodized design

Ideal for use in clean, compact environments such as laser drilling, optics assembly, precision inspection, and automated production setups. Compatible with additional X, Y, goniometer, and rotary stages.

The BT-SN50 Z-axis Stage can be ordered with plug-and-play motion controllers, keypads, joysticks, and connection cables from OES.
