Altech Corporation (Morristown, NJ) has announced its ATEX-IECEx approved terminal blocks, designed to enhance safety and reliability in potentially explosive environments. The terminal blocks are available with multiple connection technologies to meet various industrial needs.

The ATEX-IECEx approved terminal blocks provide safe and dependable connections for use in hazardous areas where explosive gas, vapor, mist, or dust may be present.

Features & Benefits:

  • Designed for ATEX/IECEx certified enclosures with a minimum IP54 rating
  • Service temperature up to 110°C; ambient temperature range from -60° to +66°C (model-dependent)
  • Insulation material: Polyamide 66, CTI 600 / Material Group 1
  • Wire sizes ranging from 24 AWG up to 250 kcmil
  • Clear marking for increased safety (“e”) and intrinsic safety (“i”) per ATEX-IECEx standards

Meets ATEX and IECEx directives for use in hazardous locations, providing safe connections in industrial automation, chemical processing, and other critical environments.
