DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., June 3, 2025 — Hirose has introduced the AU1 Series shielded USB Type-C connector, which meets USCAR-2 and USCAR-30 standards. The connector features a reinforced shell and housing for vibration and heat resistance up to 105°C, supporting automotive design requirements.

The AU1 Series supports USB 3.2 Gen2, DisplayPort 1.4, and HDMI transmission standards, allowing high-speed data and power connectivity in vehicle systems.
