Hiperface DSL Stegmann Absolute Encoders

As an Encompass Partner, Curtiss-Wright and Rockwell Automation offer customers high force linear actuation with state-of-the-art controls.

Curtiss Wright Sized

Curtiss-Wright Corporation’s Industrial Division (Davidson, NC) has announced that its Exlar facility, located in Chanhassen, MN, has added Hiperface DSL Stegmann Absolute Encoders as a part of their available Rockwell Automation feedback options. The GTX Series joined the Exlar TTX, Tritex II, GSX, FTX and K Series Encompass product families in 2018. As an Encompass Partner, Curtiss-Wright and Rockwell Automation offer customers high force linear actuation with state-of-the-art controls. Specifically:

  • A single cable connection between the motor and drive controller simplifies the motor connection, increasing system simplicity, and reducing total cost for end users.
  • With Curtiss-Wright’s release of the DSL encoder technology, customers can seamlessly integrate Exlar GTX products with Rockwell Automation Kinetix 5500 and 5700 amplifiers.

In addition to inclusion as an Encompass Partner product, the GTX product family is also part of the Rockwell Automation Enabled program. As an Enabled product, the GTX offers the same Integrated Architecture “plug and play” experience as any Rockwell Automation product. Customers can select GTX actuators from within Rockwell Automation’s RSLogix5000 programming software, just as they would with any Rockwell Automation product.
