Fanuc America (Rochester Hills, MI) will showcase advanced robotics, collaborative automation and AI‑enabled manufacturing technologies, including generative AI, 3D vision capabilities and real-time adaptive robot motion, at Automate 2026 at McCormick Place in Chicago from June 22–26.

Among the technologies is the R-2000/E Series for advanced manufacturing and logistics. The R-2000/E Series is designed for high-speed performance and zero-maintenance operation and can be used in automotive body lines, material handling and large-scale logistics centers.

The R-2000/E Series provides a completely redesigned industrial robotic solution for spot welding, palletizing and material handling using AI-integrated open platforms (Python/ROS) and secure cybersecurity standards.

Features:

  • Delivers up to 20% faster operating speeds for shorter spot welding cycle times, alongside 10% increase in payload and reach for enhanced material handling capacity
  • Battery-less encoders and specialized mechanical structure that eliminates need for battery, grease and cable replacements
  • Boasts 85% increase in wrist payload capacity
  • Supports Python and ROS (Robot Operating System) for flexible system integration and features remote maintenance capabilities via secured network.
  • Achieves 15% reduction in power consumption and 25% reduction in drive noise
