Heinz Changes Ketchup Recipe

It hits on a number of new food trends.

Ketchup

Heinz has unveiled a new type of ketchup that reflects one of many new food trends. While the company is not abandoning their iconic Tomato Ketchup, they've announced the launch of Tomato Ketchup with a Blend of Veggies. In addition to tomatoes, this ketchup is also made from carrots and butternut squash.

The new ketchup also features 25 percent more vegetable ingredients, 25 percent less sugar and no high-fructose corn syrup. Select retailers, as well as Amazon and Walmart.com are currently selling the new product in 20 and 31-ounce squeeze bottles.
