Danone Recalls Non-Dairy Frozen Desserts Over 'Foreign Materials'

The products could contain "stones and other hard objects."

Danone's U.S. division announced Monday that it is voluntarily recalling select pints of its So Delicious brand's "Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert" due to the "potential presence of foreign materials, such as small stones and other hard objects."

Screenshot 2025 12 17 101650FDAThe materials were introduced "within the cashew inclusions," company officials said. The affected pints had multiple expiration dates before Aug. 8, 2027, and were sold in retail stores nationwide.


Danone said that it has "identified and corrected the issue" and was working to remove the products from store shelves. It asked consumers to contact a "So Delicious Dairy Free Care Line" for information about refunds.

The recall notice did not indicate whether any illnesses or injuries had resulted from the problem."

"So Delicious Dairy Free takes every consumer experience seriously and is initiating this voluntary recall in line with its commitment to product quality and consumer safety," the company wrote in the notice.
